Hope everyone has enjoyed the 'taste' of Spring with the warmer days we've been having.
No reports of unusual activity has been brought to my attention. Homeowners have been more cautious in locking their cars, homes and leaving garages closed when not home. Just those few good habits have eliminated some concerns we had just months ago with car hopping and uninvited entry into garages, etc. Just staying conscientious and proactive are the best and easiest solutions that we can employ all the time!
So much will be happening these months of April, May & June that need us to be mindful.
1) Please drive slowly as children will soon be out of school and using our roads.
2) Please remember to take down your garage sale signs at the end of each day (no overnights).
3) Please use the opportunity for yard waste pick up so your neighbors can open their windows free from burning and smoke (many have respiratory difficulties, but like to open their windows for some fresh air).
4) Dog walkers: please use bags to pick up - a lot of doggie doo lately in roads and end of driveways - see #1!
5) Please make sure your teens, young adults and their friends turn down the car stereos when entering the neighborhood - most certainly after 10pm.
6) Make sure that you and your guests leave the two parks cleaner than when you arrived (OK, the boy scout rule is applicable to us all) and please, please, slow it down for the kids coming to and from the parks!
Let's all work together to make sure that we and our neighbors have a beautiful and enjoyable spring and summer by implementing extra courtesy and consideration to one another.
Please let us know if there is anything that we may be overlooking or needs attention in Chesney. We will work in getting that accomplished for you!
