FLHPOA plans fun-filled social events every year! All association members in good standing and their accompanied guests are welcome at any of our events.
Note, FLHPOA events are organized by board members who generously volunteer their time. Many events are also weather dependent. All dates/times are subject to change.

Easter Egg Hunt
March 30, 2024 at Bayview Park, 10am SHARP
Come join us for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! It is for children* 12 years and under. Please bring your own basket.
*Children's parents must be FLHPOA members in good standing.
Game Night
April 12, 2024 at Lake Villa Township Community Center, 6–10pm
A few decks of cards and trivia games will be available to play. If you have a favorite family-friendly game that you like to play, bring it with you!

Craft Project
April 20, 2024 at Lake Villa Township Community Center, 10am–1pm
Are you interested in decoupaging a flower pot for spring planting or making a stepping stone? If so, you're in luck! Teri, our Entertainment Coordinator, is hosting a craft project on Saturday, April 20th.
Teri is providing the supplies, not the association. So, to help cover the cost of materials, there is a requested donation of $5.
Please let Teri know ASAP (email [email protected] and [email protected]) if you wish to participate and which project you would like to do so she can plan accurately. Thank you!
Spring Park Cleanup
May 4, 2024 at Bayview Park, 9am
We need YOUR help to give our parks a spring cleaning! The more people who volunteer, the faster we'll get done. If you have any gardening tools (e.g., rakes, shovels, shears, wheelbarrows) that might help, please bring them! We also suggest bringing garden gloves.

Wine Walk
May 19, 2024 at Bayview Park, 1–4pm
Bring your favorite libations and an appetizer to share to the pavilion for a social gathering.
Fishing Derby
June 15 at Bayview Park, 9am–1pm
Get ready to cast your lines and reel in some family-friendly fun at our first FLHPOA Fishing Derby!
Bring your pole and net– we’ll provide the worms. There will be prizes for kids by age groups up to 12 years old, including awards for the biggest fish, smallest fish, most fish caught, and most unusual catch.
No entry fee and you do not need a fishing license*!
*The Illinois DNR "Free Fishing Days" for 2024 are June 14–17. On these days, you may fish without a fishing license!
Community Garage Sale

OUT with the old and IN with the new– whether you want to participate as a seller or a shopper, please join us for our Fox Lake Hills community garage sale! FLH resident Amber Sederstrom is graciously planning this event.

Libation Social

Summer Beach Bash
August 3 at Bayview Park, 3–7pm
Bring your coolers and chairs to enjoy a fun day in the park with:
- Live music performed by the Three Beards
- Brain Freeze Ice Cream

Pickleball Tournament
August 11 at Bayview Park, 9am
Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, everyone is welcome to participate. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition and meet your neighbors. The championship team will not only earn bragging rights, but also a prize!
To secure a spot in the tournament, you must register by emailing Terri ([email protected]) by Friday, August 9.
Volunteers are also needed to help with scorekeeping. If interested in helping, please email Terri.
Painting Class
August 25 at Lake Villa Township Community Center, 12pm

There will be a small fee for supplies.
Golf Cart & Kids' Bike Parade
August 31 at Bayview Park, 10am
Best decorated golf cart and bike will win prizes!
5K Walk/Run
September 1 at Bayview Park, 7am
The 5K will start at 7:30am and go through the Bayview and Chesney subdivisions.
To participate, email Terri ([email protected]) by Friday, August 30. Check in when you arrive at Bayview Park on the day of the event.

Bonfire
September 28 at Bayview Park, 7pm
Grab your favorite lawn chair, snacks, and beverages, and join us for an evening of warmth, laughter, and good company. This event is perfect for the whole family!
Fall Fest
October 12 at Bayview Park, 1–5pm
Join us for a fun day in the park. More details will be shared as the event is finalized.
