Harbor Registration Process

Harbor Registration Day is over. If you still need a ramp key, please follow the steps below...

STEP 1
Preregister online NOW by clicking HERE. You will need to have the following verification documents available:

    • Receipt of 2024 HOA dues paid  Receipts from Associa are preferred, but screenshots of your account will also be accepted.
    • Current Illinois State Watercraft Registration
    • Current Illinois State Trailer Registration Needed if you have a trailer for your watercraft.
    • Copy of active watercraft insurance Expiration date must be past 5/1/24. If expiration ends earlier than this date, you must contact your insurance company and extend for another 6 or 12 months to provide an updated insurance card.

STEP 2
Gather your verification documents (originals or copies) together for your FLHPOA harbormaster assistant.

NOTE: Even if you upload all your documents to the online registration form, a hard copy may need to be referenced if the digital version is difficult to read or pertinent information is cut off.

STEP 3
Print the Harbor Rules and Regulations, sign, date, and add to your collection of verification documents.

STEP 4
Contact your Bayview or Chesney harbormaster to verify documents, pay, and pick up key, and permit stickers.

Please remember that the registration process is being handled by Board and Harbor Committee members and other volunteers, none of whom get paid to do this work. Everyone is doing the best they can during their free time to make this process as easy as possible for all boaters to get their watercraft in the water.
