Harbor Registration

STEP 1
Pre-register online NOW.
Have the following verification documents available:

• Annual Assessment: Proof that your FLHPOA annual assessments are paid and current. Receipts from Associa are preferred, but screenshots of your account will also be accepted.
• IL Watercraft Registration: Current watercraft registration showing the boat/PWC is registered in your name and associated with your Fox Lake Hills property address.
• Insurance: Proof of current watercraft insurance. Note: The expiration date must extend beyond May 1 of the current year. If your policy expires before this date, contact your insurance company to extend coverage for another 6–12 months and provide an updated insurance card.
• IL Trailer Registration: Current trailer registration showing it is registered in your name and associated with your Fox Lake Hills property address. Only required if you have a trailer for your watercraft.
• License Plate Numbers: The make and license plate number of your tow vehicle and trailer, if applicable.

STEP 2
Gather your verification documents (originals or copies) for early-bird registration or Harbor Registration Day (March 7, 2027, between 1 and 3pm).
NOTE: Even if you upload all your documents to the online registration form, you may be asked to provide a hard copy for verification if the digital version is difficult to read or pertinent information is cut off.

STEP 3
Print the Harbor Rules and Regulations, sign and date it, and add it to your collection of verification documents.

STEP 4
November/December: For early-bird registration, contact the FLHPOA Harbormaster to schedule a time to complete payment and reserve your 2027 permit stickers. Stickers will be distributed once they arrive from the vendor.

January/February: Early-bird registration is not available during these months for 2027. Please attend the March 7 Harbor Registration Day event.

2027 Harbor Registration Day (for all): Attend the Harbor Registration Day event in person on Sunday, March 7, 2027, between 1 and 3pm at the Lake Villa Township Community Center to complete payment and pick up your assigned access code and permit stickers.

Beginning the Second Week of March: Email your Bayview/Orchard or Chesney Assistant Harbormaster to complete payment and pick up your assigned access code and permit stickers.
NOTE: A $50 late-registration fee applies to all registrations completed after the March 7, 2027, Harbor Registration Day event, except for new Fox Lake Hills residents.
