Harbor Online Pre-registration Deadline
March 6

Harbor Registration WALK-THRU
March 7 from 1 to 3pm
Lake Villa Community Center (37850 N. Rte. 59)

Pier Repair & Inspection Deadline
May 16 by 5pm

Due to COVID-19 concerns, we will be moving from the previous in-person, full-room gathering format to a walk-thru format. To do this, most of your registration will be done online ahead of time.

Pre-register online NOW by going HERE. The deadline to pre-register is March 6th. You can pre-register even if you don't have all of your verification documents available– they can be provided later. Please fill out everything you can now.
NOTE: Online pre-registration by March 6th is MANDATORY. If you do not pre-register by March 6, you may lose your slip even if you show up on March 7. If you have difficulty pre-registering, please contact Steven Jergensen at (224) 444-9541 or NOT wait until the walk-thru event!

Gather your verification documents (copy of current watercraft registration, copy of active watercraft insurance, and PAID receipt of your 2021 HOA dues) from the pre-registration and have them ready to show on March 7th.

Print the Harbor Rules and Regulations, sign and date, and have ready to turn in on March 7th.

Line up between 1 and 3pm on March 7th at the Harbor Registration Walk-Thru and one of our volunteers will verify your documents, collect your signed Harbor Rules and Regulations, collect payment, and either hand you your key/slip # or add you to a waiting list (if you are new to the harbor or rejoining us after a break).
NOTE: The registration process includes the signing of a legal document therefore, slips and keys will not be provided unless an adult is there to sign the paperwork.

Due to the circumstances, if you need to avoid the walk-thru event and take care of Steps 2–4 early, you are welcome to set up a time with the Harbormaster during the weekends to complete your registration and get your key/slip #. Please contact Steven Jergensen at (224) 444-9541 or to make arrangements.

Please remember that the registration process is being handled by Board and Harbor Committee members and other volunteers, none of whom get paid to do this work. They would very much appreciate it if everyone made the utmost effort to pre-register by March 6th and have everything in order at the Harbor Registration Walk-thru to avoid any inconvenience or registration handling after March 7th.

If you are unable to attend the Harbor Registration Walk-Thru on March 7th, you may forfeit your slip unless prior arrangements were made with the Harbormaster. Launch/harbor keys can be purchased at any monthly association meeting after March 7th if in person, but all pre-registration and requirements must still be met.

**The usual $40 inconvenience fee for registration outside of the normal process will be waived in 2021 due to changes caused by COVID-19.**
